From the first time I saw Zoom, I wanted a Windmill Aussie…that was many years ago! Now, that I have Flirt, I feel like my dream has come true. She is everything you could ever want and then more, the more part would including barking ? She is full of energy and always willing to work, especially if a ball is included as her reward. She is so smart, learning new things very quickly. She loves life and she will tell you so, hence the barking. She loves agility and the water, whether it is at the beach or in a pool. As a black bi with a tail, people often assume she is a Border Collie and are shocked when I correct them. For some reason, these people think a good agility dog must be a Border Collie, so I tell them that I have the best of both worlds, a dog who looks like a Border Collie but acts, works and loves like a Aussie. We have a “special” time in the evening when the household starts to quiet down. She will climb up in my lap as I recline in the rocker, spin around and settle between my legs. She will lay there as I pet her, every once in a while she will look back at me and lick my hand. Life can’t be any better than this!! I can’t thank Nicole and Gina enough for entrusting this sweet perfect little girl to me. She has taken over my life and my heart.
