Candy was one of my foundation bitches. To this day, Candy’s presence is strongly seen and felt in the Windmill dogs. In every litter, there’s at least one puppy that is 100% Candy. She was high-end, high-energy, high-drive and would give you 200% no matter what the conditions were. It could be 100 degrees and she would still give you everything she had. She also had a sense of humor and silliness to match. There are so many stories about Candy’s antics. When told, people break out into uncontrollable laughter.
All of my dogs today go directly back to Candy. Her impact on my breeding program as well as my life cannot be put into words. It wasn’t until I started writing this page that I realized how much I still miss her.
