Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), 12/12-13/09 USDAA Agility-TNT Canines Agility club PA-Masters Snookers 5th place and her 1st super Q. Advanced Standard 1st place for her 3rd leg and her AAD title. She also earned her first Q in Master Pairs.

Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), 11/27/09 USDAA Agility-Paiva earned her first Dog Agility Masters (DAM) Team Q at VA Ruff Riders' USDAA trial in Woodbridge VA. Her team was "A Beautiful Day for romance" and included Bella the sheltie and Romance the BC.

 

Windmill's Virginia Dare-DNA-VP (Dare), took a a 5 point major at the Delta ASF show on 11/27/09 under judge Joe Parreira. This was her 3rd major. She now only needs a few minors to finish her CH.

Susan Laursen & Windmill's Daring Finely(Finn), 11/21-22/09PASA/ASCA agility trial-Susan writes: Finley did really well. He finished his Open Gamblers title, Elite Jumpers title and got 2.5 Qs toward his Elite Standard title. Even when he did not qualify he was a very good boy!
Oh and the week before Finley got his Open Jumpers title and Open Fast title.
We are doing well and still having fun.

 

Nicole Watts and ATCH Windmill's Djinn Fizz(Jinn).11/21/09(Saturday only)ASCA agility trial Nicole writes: we did Saturday and Jinn got a Q-1st Jumpers and

SVCH WTCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom) 11/21-22/09 Silver Bullet Farm Trial-Galt. Zoom wins the open class with a score of 118 under judge Kathy Warren. This score also earned him the High In Farm Trial award!!!

 

Heidi, Scott & Mackenzie Mobley & Western Hill's Source of Magic (Bink), 11/7-8/2009 ASCA conformation show. From the 6-9 class Bink went WB for her first 3 pt. major. On Saturday she went RWB to a 5 pt. major and the p.m. show RWB to a 4 pt major.....click here for her win pictures

Jean Seaman and CH Evergreen's Irish Blessing(Dell).PASA Working trial 10/31-11/1/09 Dell finished all her started stock titles. 6 runs on 3 types of stock, all Q's 1-1st 2-2nds, 2-3rds and 1- 4th place.

 

Heidi, Scott & Mackenzie Mobley & Western Hill's Source of Magic (Bink), UKC show 10/24-25/09 Heidi reports that Bink received her last major for her UKC CH. she just needs a few more points. In her words Bink is a blast to show...a self stacking fool.

Nicole Watts and ATCH Windmill's Djinn Fizz(Jinn).USDAA Agility-Nicole writes: So, for brags at the USDAA trial Oct 10-11, we had: Q-3rd/33 dogs Grand Prix Q-3rd/31 dogs Masters Jumpers Q-6th first round of steeplechase (lovely run with one bauble on a jump where I didn't push him out so he drifted in and I had to swing him back), and Q-7th second round of steeplechase (he didn't see the first set of poles so I had to re-send him, so we lost a few seconds there too). Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), USDAA Agility-Flexible Flyers (PA) Sept 12/13 - earned Qs in Advanced Standard (3rd pl) and Masters Snooker

Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), USDAA Agility-Paws In Motion (NJ) Aug 28/29 - earned Qs in Masters Snooker and Starters Pairs (2nd pl). Completed her Starters Relay (SR) title.

 

Susan Laursen & Windmill's Daring Finely(Finn), 9/5-6/2009-USDAA agility. Susan writes: Finley received his Agility Dog title last weekend and received his first two Advanced Qs (in Snooker and Jumpers) this weekend. He was also on his first team this weekend and did really well for a baby dog.

 

SVCH WTCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom),Cayucos/COAST working trial. Zoom Q'd 5 out of 6 runs (cattle/sheep/ducks). Best of all he Q'd w/ a 4th place (score 101) in advanced cattle on Saturday & Q'd with a score of 94 on Sunday. This completed the requirements for his WTCH and his SVCH!!!!!!!

Susan Laursen & Windmill's Daring Finely(Finn), 8/8-9/2009-County Wide Dog Training Club/AKC Finley finished his Novice Standard, Novice Jumpers and Novice Fast titles. Sunday he received his first Open Standard Q with a 2nd place and Open Jumpers Q with a 1st place

 

Susan Laursen & Windmill's Daring Finely(Finn), 8/1-2/2009-PASA/ASCA Agility Morgan Hill CA. Finn earned his Open Jumpers then went on to get his 1st Elite Jumpers Q. He also started and finished his Open Standard and received an Open Gamblers Q.

 

Windmill's Meant To Be, TD, CGD (Shane)and his owner Marcia Hodes competed in their first agility trial 8/1-2/09 PASA/ASCA Morgan Hill, CA. Shane now has his Novice Jumpers with 2 1st places. Way to go Shane and Marcia.

 

 

Deb Langly & Windmill's Chasing a Dream(Kip), 8/1-2/09 PASA/ASCA agility Morgan Hill CA. Kip earned his Open Gambler & Elite Jumpers titles with placements of 1st in Gamblers & 2nd in Elite Jumpers.

 

Deb Langly & Windmill's Chasing a Dream(Kip), 7/18-19/09 SMART USDAA Carmel, CA. This was Deb and Kips second USDAA trial. Despite newly developed contact problems, they received a Q/3rd in Snookers, Q/1st in Standard, 1st place in pairs and a Q in jumpers. Good job guys!!!

VCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom),ASCA 08/09 Year end merit standings. Zoom finished #7 in open sheep and #7 in open ducks. He also finished #17 in advanced ducks.

 

Deb Langly & Windmill's Chasing a Dream(Kip), 6/13-14/09 AKC agility-Scotts Valley CA. Kip received 3 1st's in Standard for his Novice title and 2 in FAST...Deb reports that they were also reported on the local news!!.

 

Heidi, Scott & Mackenzie Mobley & Western Hill's Source of Magic (Bink), 6/12-14/09 ASCA conformation show College Station TX. Bink is still all legs/no body but Heidi reports she is still winning.

 

Susan Laursen & Windmill's Daring Finely(Finn), 6/6-7/2009-AKC agility. Susan writes: I took Finn to his first AKC trial and he was awesome. He Q'd in all five runs, winning 3 classes (Novice FAST & both Jumpers) and took 3rd and 4th in Novice Standard runs. Susan also advises that Finns head is very big as they received so many compliments on their runs!!!

Windmill's Smokey 1V (Smokey) and Jerry Del Rio are now practicing for their "mission ready" test. Jerry reports that they hiked 2 miles, covered over 100 acres of search area and hiked out to find their subject on the way back. The final test will be 120 acres, no scent article, 3 people hidden, 4 hours to find them and then return with an alert and bring Jerry to them.

 

VCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom),5/23/2009 COAST Stockdog trial....Zoom finished his ATDs with a score of 100. Zoom also had qualifying scores in advanced ducks and earned additional finals points.

 

Heidi, Scott & Mackenzie Mobley & Western Hill's Source of Magic (Bink), 5/23-25/2009 ASCA conformation show. Though Bink is all legs now...out of 5 shows she took two BOB puppy and 1 BOS puppy!! Way to go Bink and Heidi

 

VCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom),5/16-17/2009 Delta Stockdog trial....First attempt at advanced sheep he Qd for his first leg on his ATDs. He also had multiple Q's and placements in advanced ducks and now has 5 final points (this was his 2nd trial being in advanced ducks).

VCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP (Zoom), 5/9-10/2009 CVASC/ASCA agility trial. Zoom received multiple Q's and placements in elite jumpers.

 

Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), 5/9-10/2009 TAG USDAA Sterling, VA. This was Pai's first time on SprintTurf. She got a 1st and Q in Advanced Gamblers and her 2nd Q in Starters Pairs. Pai will now take a break from trialing and go back to training for the summer.

 

Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), 5/2-3/2009 MAD Companies USDAA agility trial in VA. Pai Q'd and won Advanced Snookers for her 3rd leg (6 Q's in 6 Snooker runs). She also Q'd w/1st place in Starters Standard and then a Q and 2nd place to finish her Starters Agility(SA) and Agility Dog (AD). On Sunday she also Q'd and won Advanced Snookers (that is 7 for 7 in Snookers).

Deb Langly & Windmill's Chasing a Dream(Kip),4/25-26/2009 SMART USDAA CA. This was Deb and Kip's first time trialing in USDAA. Kip Q'd in 4 out of 6 runs placing 2nd in Snookers, 3rd in Standard and 5th in Jumpers.

 

Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), 4/25-26/2009 Head Over Tails USDAA PA, Pai finished her Starters Gamblers. She made her Advanced Snookers debut and qualified both days taking 4th on Saturday and 1st on Sunday.

 

VCH Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 4/18-19/2009 Silver Bullet Stockdog trial....First attempt at advanced ducks Zoom took 1st place with a 107 (HIT ducks). His 2nd Q was with a score of 94 and 3rd was a score of 101. Best of all the ATDd finished his requirements for his VCH!!!!!!

Heidi, Scott & Mackenzie Mobley & Western Hill's Source of Magic (Bink), 4/19/2009 NTAPBT UKC conformation show. Bink make her UKC debut and went Best in Show Puppy!!!!

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP (Zoom), 3/28-29/09 DELTA Show and ASCA agility trial. Zoom received multiple Q's and placements in elite standard and elite gamblers.

 

Heidi, Scott & Mackenzie Mobley & Western Hill's Source of Magic (Bink), 3/21-22/2009 Heart of Texas ASCA conformation show. Bink went Best of Breed puppy twice and Best of Opposite puppy twice.

 

Sally Josselyn & Windmill's Uusi Paiva(Pai), 3/14-15/2009 USDAA-New Jersey. Sally reported she did not consider Pai trial ready but wanted her to get some exposure so she entered her in Starter Jumpers on Saturday & Starter Gamblers on Sunday. Sally was thrilled.....Pai Q'd in both.

 

Susan Laursen& Windmill's Daring Finely(Finn), 2/21-22/2009-ASCA/PASA This was Finn's first agility trial and he came away with all of his novice titles. He placed 1st in standard and jumpers (19 seconds under time). He was also a very close 2nd to HIT novice. Not bad for the first trial.Way to go Susan &Finn
